Jonathan Ireland is a Client Manager at MCE Public Relations, having joined the team in January 2011. Prior to this, he worked at another Belfast-based PR firm for two-and-a-half years and, before getting into the world of PR, taught Music and French.

Specialising in corporate communication and reputation management in the financial, technology, education and professional services sectors, Jonathan manages MCE’s corporate clients – including Northern Bank, Grant Thornton, Xafinity, Hewlett-Packard, Diamond Recruitment Group and ICONI Software. He also takes a keen interest in business development and is a member of the BNI Connect Chapter of Business Networking International (BNI) and a Committee member of the Northern Ireland Government Affairs Group. He has over five years’ event management experience, working closely with a number of local charities to manage high-profile fundraising events.

Jonathan read Music at Queen’s University, Belfast, where he won the Hamilton-Harty Scholarship, enabling him to pursue further study in Montpellier, France. He founded the highly-acclaimed and multi award-winning Concentio Chamber Choir and remains actively involved in music in Northern Ireland as a member of the Priory Singers and Director of Music at Stormont Church. He is also actively involved with a number of charities in Northern Ireland and further afield, including the Siphila Sonke charity in Capetown, South Africa.
