Centra is bringing convenience to people living and working in the Belfast Harbour Estate, with the arrival of its highly anticipated new store at City Quays, which opened its doors to the public on Tuesday 28th May.

The vibrant and contemporary store, which boasts panoramic riverside views across the harbour to the Titanic Quarter, is certain to be a one-stop-shop for more than 5,000 residents and workers in the area, catering for breakfast, lunch, dinner and even those all-important essentials to cook up a storm after a day at the office.

Perfect for lunch on-the-go, the store, located within City Quays 2, features a variety of options to satisfy every craving. For those embracing a healthier lifestyle, Centra City Quays has a range of lighter choices, with fresh salad and sandwich favourites, courtesy of their Green Kitchen hot and cold deli.

For the more adventurous, the punchy and vibrant flavours of a burrito from the Mex-A-Go burrito bar is sure to tickle the taste buds; whilst hot self-serve food-to-go options, and an abundance of indulgent treats are a must for afternoon hunger pangs.

Catering for coffee lovers, the addition of an in-store Frank and Honest gourmet coffee dock will provide caffeine junkies with fuel for the day ahead. Already a firm favourite amongst coffee buffs, its unique blend stands up against barista-made coffee, with tasting notes of gingerbread, white chocolate, brown sugar and even a hint of sherbet.

Boasting strong eco-credentials in line with Centra’s company-wide ethos, the store will embrace sustainability, with 100% compostable Frank and Honest coffee cups, food-to-go packaging and wooden cutlery.

For those seeking a more relaxed eating experience, Centra City Quays also features a comfortable seating area, complete with complimentary USB charging ports. This bright and modern space is ideal for dining-in, short meetings or simply taking a break. The store also features a covered terrace for alfresco dining overlooking the landmark locations of the city’s waterfront skyline, as well as direct access to the River Lagan walk and cycleway.

The store, owned by the Gracey family, a well-known family business based in Belfast is the latest addition in their successful retail portfolio. Commenting on the opening, Anna McErlean said:

Building on the experience of two decades in retail, we are proud to be opening the doors to our new store, which will bring a contemporary and vibrant new convenience offering to people working in Belfast Harbour Estate. We are delighted with the prime location of our new store and feel that Centra City Quays will be a fantastic addition to the area.”

U105 presenter Frank Mitchell, who hosts his daily radio show from City Quays 2, was also delighted at this welcome addition to the area. He said: “To be ‘Frank and Honest’, I couldn’t be happier to see such a fine facility opening on our doorstep. From my early morning coffee to abite of lunch after my show, there’s no doubt that I will be a frequent customer, and I’m certain that I could say the same for my fellow office workers in City Quays and the surrounding area.”
