Belfast hotel, Bullitt is set to get canine customers’ tails wagging with excitement as it prepares to launch its first dog-friendly rooms.
Available from Thursday 12 September, guests will have the option to book specially equipped rooms that offer a comfortable space for owners and their pet pooches to rest their heads after a busy day of exploring the city.
The popular hotel, which is part of the award-winning Beannchor Group, has carried out extensive research to ensure four-legged furry guests enjoy a five-paw experience during their stay. A luxury Casper dog bed will be installed in each dog-friendly room to guarantee a perfect night’s sleep. In-room guides will showcase the growing number of popular dog-friendly venues and activities for guests to sniff out in the local neighbourhood. And, after visiting the local sights, four-legged furry guests can relax for the evening with some pooch perks, including a special doggie beer and tasty treats.
Bullitt Hotel has been welcoming four-legged furry guests since 2018, when it was the first venue in Belfast to host dog-friendly yoga. Known as Doga, this special type of yoga practice involves participants bringing their dogs along to try out a range of gentle yoga stretches and meditation techniques, designed to leave owners and their pooches in the ultimate state of zen.
The new dog-friendly rooms will cater for dogs weighing up to 30lbs.
Commenting on the launch of dog-friendly rooms, Michael Sullivan, general manager of Bullitt Hotel, said:
“We recognised the growing trend of people choosing to holiday with their four-legged friends, and after the phenomenal success of our Doga events last year, we saw the potential for dog-friendly bedrooms.
“It was important for us to get this new service right, to ensure that all guests – with or without dogs – can continue to enjoy a premium experience at Bullitt. There will be a pet policy in place, with a limited number of dog-friendly rooms available each night.
“We are really looking forward to welcoming canine customers to the hotel, as well as announcing further dog-friendly events and activities taking place over the coming months”.
