On the afternoon of Friday 19th May The Saffron Business Forum hosted 500 guests at their AP Mc Coy Sports Lunch to raise funds for the promotion of Gaelic games in Antrim including development squads. Businessmen and Antrim GAA supporters alike flocked to the Crowne Plaza Hotel Belfast for the AP Mc Coy Sports Lunch.
The Tuesday Club, Ulaid and Duke Special and Celtic Storm and entertained the crowd before host of the event Paul McErlean, Managing Director of MCE Public Relations, and former Dunloy, Antrim and Ulster hurling goalkeeper, Shane Elliott interview AP McCoy. The champion jockey gave an honest interview with a touch of humour throughout. Allowing listeners to gain a real insight into not only his career, but also life away from the racecourse.
The lunch was a day of breath-taking entertainment, great food and drink, inspirational answers and most importantly a success in raising awareness for the promotion of Gaelic games in Antrim.
“All at CLG Aontroma/Antrim GAA would like to express our thanks to Paul, Anna, Nicole and all the team at MCE.
Their highly professional and friendly services, from concept through to delivery of the event, led to a hugely successful day which raised funds that were beyond our expectations.
Importantly, the positive feedback and buzz created by such a well organised and slickly delivered event is itself invaluable.
Mile Buiochas-many thanks to the MCE team, now our go-to company for events management and promotion”.
